26031 + 26011 pass Galgate with an additional 15:05 Clitheroe - Gunnie cement train 03/05/89. This train was booked to run several hours earlier with two Class 37 locos but on this day one of the locos failed and half the train went forward with one loco. These two Class 26s were sent from Carlisle to work the second half of the train. Workings of Class 26s this far south was quite rare.
